The name ‘Wurda’.
The Proto-Germanic term ‘wurda’ is believed to be the source of the modern English word “word,” as well as similar words in other Germanic languages, such as German “Wort,” Dutch “woord,” Swedish “ord,” and Icelandic “orð.”
It was chosen because of the wordy nature of the site (although I like to have an image to go with each article) and the fascination I have for this form of communication.
